Ambassador, Chika Sylva-Olejeme established a special US public diplomacy resource with the formation of US Embassy for Peace in 2008, domiciled in the US state of Texas, operating as a non-state diplomatic mission with the government of Nigeria; a public diplomatic relation which culminated in the establishment of Nigerian’s National Mentorship Program and the National Expatriate Mentorship Strategy (NEMS). Ambassador Sylva-Olejeme became Nigeria first Chief Mentorship Officer, and Chair of the Presidential Inventory Coordination Platform (PICP).

Ambassador Sylva-Olejeme initiated Learn America Do America (LADA) Program through US mentorship roundtable meetings and special diplomatic sessions with US Department of State, US Department of 3 Commerce, US multinational Companies and US international Mentees in 2017 as Head of Nigerian Mentorship Delegation to the USA.

Linkage with EOP,DOS and USAID
Ambassador Sylva-Olejeme in line with President Biden’s Presidential Management Agenda (PMA) liaised with the Executive Office of the US President (EOP), Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to further strengthen the Learn America Do America (LADA) Program with special diplomatic meetings with the office of foreign assistance US Department of State and US Agency for International Development (USAID) in 2022.

Ambassador Sylva-Olejeme currently serves as the President of US Embassy for Peace, Chair of the US Association of Public Diplomats and Professionals (UAPDP), Chair of US President Public Diplomacy Investiture, Chair of the US Joint Implementation working group for the development of Learn America Do America (LADA) Program and Chair of the advisory board for the establishment of International Mentorship Facility Administration (IMFA) in US Partner Nations.
