About the U.S. Embassy for Peace (USEP)
The U.S. Embassy for Peace (USEP) is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to fostering global peace, economic cooperation, and civic engagement through structured mentorship diplomacy. Operating at the intersection of civil society and international relations, USEP promotes reciprocal business mentorship between citizens of developed and developing nations.
Through its flagship initiative—the Learn America, Do America (LADA) program—USEP partners with the U.S. Departments of Commerce and State and allied nations to enable a two-way exchange of entrepreneurial knowledge, trade practices, and enterprise development. Developed-nation citizens mentor emerging market entrepreneurs, while mentees from developing nations provide vital market intelligence, resilience strategies, and innovative practices to their counterparts.
USEP's mission is rooted in the belief that mentorship is a diplomatic bridge—capable of transforming cross-border partnerships, enhancing U.S. soft power, and catalyzing sustainable development. By linking mentorship to diplomacy, USEP works to restore America’s global standing, strengthen the international rule of commerce, and create a world of shared peace and progress.
