LADA PROGRAM

Learn America, Do America (LADA) Program
A New American International Mentorship Initiative

The Learn America, Do America (LADA) Program is a flagship international mentorship initiative of the U.S. Embassy for Peace (USEP), strategically aligned with the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It is designed to advance inclusive global partnerships that promote peace, prosperity, and mutual economic benefit.

LADA serves as a structured platform connecting U.S. Mentor Companies with international Mentees from America’s trusted partner nations. The program empowers mentees to "learn America" through exposure to U.S. enterprise, values, and business culture—and to "do America" by applying these insights to collaborative ventures and trade diplomacy initiatives.

Backed by the Office of the President of the United States, LADA reflects a renewed commitment to American global leadership through mentorship diplomacy. It strengthens U.S. business competitiveness abroad while fostering goodwill and sustainable development in emerging markets.

As a key project under USEP’s Mentorship Diplomacy framework, LADA is instrumental in restoring U.S. global standing by demonstrating that economic engagement, when rooted in mentorship, can be a tool for peace, productivity, and shared progress.

QUALITY GUARANTEED

The LADA/MAS Program (Learn America, Do America / Mentorship Advantage Strategy) was formulated through a series of high-level diplomatic roundtable meetings convened by the U.S. Embassy for Peace (USEP) in collaboration with the United States Government, the Federal Government of Nigeria, and leading U.S. multinational companies. These consultations established a shared framework for mentorship diplomacy—designed to advance American economic interests abroad while strengthening institutional and commercial ties between the United States and its strategic partners.
